Allison Pregler is a reviewer who tackles Z-grade film generally within the genre of martial arts and horror. genre, which is roughly comparable to The Cinema Snob but tending towards dumb action flicks and a morbid enjoyment of the genre. After earning some recognition on the forums of Channel Awesome (under her previous name Obscurus Lupa) and began her review in late 2009. She was on the website until 2015, which is when Obscurus Lupa Presents became Movie Nights. She co-hosts two podcasts that cover the Charmed series. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme.
